He's been out of jail for a week now, and yesterday Daron Hamilton was out celebrating in Lord's Bank Village when he says police turned his celebration into "sufferation." He today showed us welts on his back, and numerous injuries to his legs and head. All, he claim, inflicted by policemen.

Daron Hamilton,
"Some boys hollered something after them and I was passing the same time and they thought it was me so they grabbed me. They started to beat up me and this young boy in front of a whole crowd and then they took us to the station and finished beating us up."

Alfonso Noble,
What were they beating you with?

Daron Hamilton,
"Club, with a broom stick, they broke a broom stick on me, they kicked the young boy in his jaw with their boots, and broke his jaw."

Alfonso Noble,
People will say you probably were giving trouble out there and that is why they had to beat you like this.

Daron Hamilton,
"I wasn't giving any kind of trouble for them to beat me like this. I was going home after the party finished and they grabbed me and just beat me up."

Hamilton says he plans to make a complaint to the Internal Affairs Office of the Police Department.
