A woman was caught in the crossfire of police and fleeing suspects on Saturday night. That woman is 53 year old Rosita Williams. Williams doesn't know who shot her but she told police that around 10 on Saturday night she was walking on South Street enroute to her Amara Avenue home when she saw a police mobile chasing a grey SUV. There was an exchange of gunfire and Williams later realized she had been hit in the head. Police say the bullet grazed the left side of her head but today from her hospital bed, Williams said the bullet is still in her head. She should be released from the KHMH this week.

Meanwhile police aren't saying exactly who shot Williams. They say they pursued the grey SUV after it was observed going "up stop" on Berkeley Street. Police say the driver refused to pull over and instead opened fire on the police officers. No one has been detained.
