Case of the Jealous Ex Motive for Teakettle Murder

26 year old Rupert Vanzie is in jail, accused of stabbing 27 year old Henry Rodriguez in a jealous rage on Saturday. The Teakettle villager went to his ex common law's home on Saturday and found Rodriguez, her new boyfriend visiting. They started to argue, and that turned into a fight. Police say that's when Vanzie pulled out his knife and stabbed Rodriguez to the chest, killing him almost instantly. Rodriguez had recently moved to Teakettle, while from Santa Clara in the Orange Walk District, while Vanzie and his ex had broken up three weeks earlier.
