Two American cruise visitors missed the boat yesterday and they can't blame City Hall or the bad streets. Yesterday police at the Tourism Village saw brothers 26-year-old Joshua Shumate and 23-year-old Andrew Shumate acting suspiciously. The police pulled them over to question them, but before they could conduct a search, a small packet with 37 grams of cocaine fell from Andrew Shumate's pants.

Police detained him and sent his brother Justin to the KHMH for a full cavity search which yielded another packet with 33 grams of cocaine. Both were charged for drug trafficking and when they appeared before Magistrate Sharon Frazer today, they tried pleading guilty to the lesser count of possession.

But that was rejected and they were remanded overnight with their trial for drug trafficking to resume tomorrow morning.
