When Marlon Fisher was shot on February 3rd of 2005, he lost one of his lungs and back then he told police that Shelton "Pinky" Tillet and Leonard "Ghost" Myers were the men who shot him. Well today Fisher backtracked and via a letter, he told Supreme Court Justice Troadio Gonzalez that he doesn't want any court action.
Tillet and Myers were charged with attempted murder but with Fisher's letter, Justice Gonzalez had no choice but to drop the charge and free Tillet and Myers. In his letter to the court, Fisher also stressed that he wasn't coerced to withdraw the action. Tillet and Myers were defended by Ellis Arnold while Crown Counsel Velda Flowers prosecuted.
Fisher was standing at the corner of Prince and West Streets when he was shot in the left side of his chest, causing him to lose his left lung.
And while Pinky got to go home after two days in police custody, Leonard 'Ghost' Myers is still facing a murder charge. He allegedly killed 14-year-old Randy Conorque in December of 2006. That murder occurred during the end of year resurgence of hostilities between George Street and Back-a-Town.
