The Post Office in Dangriga was burglarized over the weekend and police say they have detained the man who did it. Dangriga's postal supervisor reported to police that between 5 pm on Sunday and 8 am on Monday, thieves removed a burglar bar on the eastern side of the building.

Once inside, the culprits stole mail belonging to residents. There is no indication of how much mail was stolen but Dangriga residents are known to receive a large number of remittances from relatives in the USA, Grigalezeans as they are called.
