Ruthless criminals looking for easy prey continue to roam the streets of the city and proof of that came yesterday when a 10-year-old boy was robbed of his bike in broad-daylight. During his lunch break from school at 12:30 in the afternoon, 10-year-old Felipe Rodriguez was riding a friend's beach cruiser bike on Fairweather Street when he was approached from behind by a man who claimed he was armed with a gun. With his mother's consent, a brave Felipe today recounted yesterday's events to us.

Felipe Rodriquez, Robbed
"I was coming from by the bus terminal. I passed the Raccoon Street Police Station on the bridge the young boy just pulled me in my shirt and told me that if I didn't come off the bike, he would shoot me. I hurry come off it and then the same time two of my friends were passing and then they dropped me home and then the neighbor across there took me to the police station to report it."

Keith Swift,
So the guy grabbed you from behind?

Felipe Rodriquez,
"Yes sir."

Keith Swift,
And did he show you the gun?

Felipe Rodriquez,
"No."

Keith Swift,
How frightened were you?

Felipe Rodriquez,
"Bad. I was jumpy because I saw my friends passed on the bike with his sister and then I hollered for Kevin and then the boy just grabbed me and told me if I didn't come off the bike he would shoot me. I was frightened."

Police have one suspect who they are seeking for questioning. The bike is valued at $300.
