A 10-year-old boy drowned on Monday in Gardenia Village. Claude Oliver Goodin was in the vicinity of a man made pond in the village when reports are he went under water and did not resurface. While the boy drowned today the father of Gooding, Matthew Dawson told us that he is not satisfied not knowing exactly how it is that his son died.

"I would really want the police give me answer because they gave me an answer but that doesn't really sound presentable. My son was with a little boy but the statement which the police took, they could have done a little better investigation than what they did. My son, he can't swim but he is a smart little boy. Common sense, I don't think he would just go into the water just like that. What would satisfy me, I would just really want the police just check on this thing and just see what is the outcome of this thing, for real."
