Colin Smith's Joyride on Stolen Police Motorcycle

He allegedly stole a policeman's motorcycle and 22-year-old Colin Smith was busted hours later cruising around the city on the stolen cycle. The cycle was stolen from special constable 32-year-old Deulane Neal. He told police that at 6:50 on Saturday night he parked the cycle downstairs of the Belize City Center and went upstairs to work. Neal says when we went downstairs to check on his cycle at 11:30, it was gone. He alerted police and a mobile later caught Smith riding around the city. He was arrested and charged with theft. He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail.
