Someone tried to get into St. John's Credit Union on Basra Street by cutting a hole in the wall. The credit union closed early on Wednesday afternoon because of the floods, and sometime between that closing and Thursday morning's opening, someone working from outside the building cut a circular hole in the wall. It appears they knew what they were doing as the hole was leading directly to the vault room. But for whatever reason, they failed in their mission, and did not get into the building.
