Carlos Castro Charged for Stealing Diamond Encrusted Rolex

Carlos Castro was today charged with burglary for allegedly stealing $38,000 worth of items from Eric Chang's home. Chang told police that on November 1st someone broke into his home on Meighan Avenue in King's Park and stole his laptop valued at $2,400, his 12 gauge pump action valued at $1,200, a $20,000 diamond encrusted silver Rolex watch, and other items including a digital camera, an Armani wrist watch, and a cell phone. Castro pleaded not guilty.

The police prosecutor objected to bail because Castro is awaiting trial on a separate charge of burglary. Bail was denied and he was remanded to the Hattieville Prison until December 11th.
