Earlier on we told you about the 100 suspects who police and prison authorities had to narrow down to find the man accused of the jailhouse murder of Gilroy Wade. And from what we've been told by multiple sources, the interrogation sessions were nothing nice. One of those prisoners who was questioned is 30-year-old Clifton Marin who is serving a 6 year prison sentence for drug trafficking among other crimes. But his mom Gilda Jones says that doesn't make him a killer.

While she hasn't seen her son, because prison officials have refused to allow her to visit, she has received reliable reports that her son was brutalized by police at the prison on Friday. She today appealed for help for him.

Gilda Jones, Mother of Prison Inmate
"They sent some of those police -those ones who use black, the ADU, and they went up there and they beat up those boys and I heard they went into the place and just beat up my son bad bad, bust up his head and thing like that. So I am trying to find human rights or so but I can't find them. So I just would want let them get the message so they can up there and investigate and find out exactly what is happening because I don't like what is happening. They already have him there, they've already said I can't see him for two years already so why would they do him that."

Keith Swift,
You haven't seen your son but you believe that he was brutalized?

Gilda Jones,
"Yes because I get the information from there that they beat him bad and bust up his head and everything so I would want them to go up there to see it."

Keith Swift,
What's your major concern tonight?

Gilda Jones,
"My major concern is my son."

Prison CEO Marlon Skeen told us Clifton Marin resisted attempts to search him and that's why force was used. And Skeen says police found a bora on him. Skeen says justifiable force was used, considering that Marin was armed with the bora.
