17 year old Yoshua Roches is missing from his home in Belize City and his family believes he may have been killed. Yoshua left home on Wednesday night and he hasn’t seen or heard from since. The family says it is more than just a missing persons because Yoshua was threatened a short time before he disappeared. His older brother Joe Nunez says all they all want know is to find their brother – dead or alive.

Joe Nunez, Brother of Missing Man
“Since the man left home on Wednesday night about after 8, we haven’t seen the man from them and we’ve gotten all kinds of reports that the man supposedly gone with a group of guys, on certain activities and I don’t know if he made it or didn’t make it but all I know for a fact is that the man hasn’t reached home and right now we are fearing for the worse. We went to do our investigation into the matter, we already went to police so they know what is going on, and right now all we are working on is trying to find his body because we know for a fact that the man is dead already.”

Keith Swift,
Is he somebody who normally goes away for long periods of time and doesn’t inform the family?

Joe Nunez,
“No, Yoshua is not that type of person but then again I won’t

say the man is an angel or he is a bad man because yes the man has had few run-ins with the law. But basically it looks like what happened is that prior to what transpired Wednesday night or whatever, it looks like he had some person, according to what his girlfriend tells me, somebody threatened to kill him, which in the police also have a report about that. I don’t know where else to turn so I decided to come to the media to voice out whatever.”

Keith Swift,
How can people help?

Joe Nunez,
“Exactly, if anybody see something, if anybody knows something, we want them to come forward. It is like, I don’t know, but I never thought that my turn would come then because I always watch the news with parents, mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters and they are crying for their loved ones. But it is like what the song says, the world is a cycle, and all I want is to find my little brother. I already know he is dead but I just want to find him and give the man a proper burial because my little brother isn’t dog for someone to just throw him in the bush and that is all I have to say now.”

Joe Nunez says the police have been attentive. They are however asking the public’s help in locating Yoshua Roches. He is again 17 years old and was last seen wearing a grey white and green striped shirt, black jeans pants, and a red and white Jordan tennis. If you’ve seen him or know where he might be, the family wants you to call them at 624-0754 or call the nearest Police Station.
