Yesterday we told you about Mark Godoy Jr, accused of pulling off the burglary of $49,000 in items from Luke Espat’s office in the Renaissance Towers. One of those items was a green Brinds brand home security safe – and acting on information provided by the accused, police found it in the city dump at mile two on the Western Highway.
Espat had reported that he had business documents inside, but when the police found it, it was empty – the thieves had used a blowtorch to get it open. Police have charged Godoy and are looking for two other men.
