A trio of robbers in Belize City got more than they bargained for just after midnight on Wednesday. The drama unfolded on Elston Kerr Street where three men attacked twenty year old Donovan Graham, a BDF soldier. The men demanded that Graham hand over his property but he refused. Two of the robbers then held onto to their victim’s hands while the third man went through the soldier’s pockets taking four hundred and seventy five dollars in cash and a cell phone.
But Graham was no easy target. Obviously armed with combat skills he quickly managed to free himself from his assailants, and took out a small pocket knife that he used to defend his life. While Graham was unable to get back his phone and money he did inflict wounds on two of the robbers who then ran away from the scene.
