We are not sure if it was the flood waters that drove one deadly snake out of its habitat but it has left a young boy in the south hospitalized. Eight year old Jonathan Chiac was playing with some friends in their yard in Santa Rosa Village when he was bitten twice on his left foot by a Tommy Goff. It was probably quick response that saved the child’s life but we are happy to report that Jonathan Chiac remains in a stable condition in the Southern Regional Hospital.
