He had his I-phone in one pocket and $6,500 cash in another pocket and 22 year old Armick Escobar says both were stolen during an armed robbery on Friday evening. Escobar says around 5:30 he was standing in front of Meg’s Auto-Care and Body Shop on South Creek with three other men when two men on bikes approached them. Both were wielding guns and ordered everyone to empty their pockets. Escobar attempted to run but tripped and fell. That’s one of the gunmen then hit him in the back of the head. The assailant searched his pockets and found the $6,500 in cash as well as his Apple I-Phone and a Kyocera cell phone. They also grabbed two of his gold chains.
The men also took away 23 year old Dario Cruickshank’s LG brand cell phone after which they fled. Police are investigating.
