Last night we told you about the mid-day shooting on Ebony Street. As we reported, Osman Mitchell junior was shot in his hand. While he was caught in the hand, his alleged shooter Willworth Williams was caught red handed. They are sure the 21 year old is the shooter because when they responded, they saw Williams with a gun in his hand and shooting. He attempted to flee but police nabbed him. Police found a.38 Smith and Wesson revolver loaded with one live round in a nearby yard. Mitchell was taken to the hospital and Williams to the police station.

Today Williams slapped with 6 charges, namely - attempted murder, dangerous harm, use of deadly means of harm and grievous harm, and one count of kept firearm and ammunition without a gun license. Williams was denied bail and remanded to prison until September 25th.

While Mitchell claims he doesn’t know why he was shot, our information is that the two have an old beef since earlier this year – Williams was allegedly shot at by two teenagers – age 14 and 15. His family claims he reported it to police but they didn’t act on it. The victim, Mitchell also isn’t a saint since in April he was charged for the attempted murder of John Chessman. He has been out on bail awaiting trial.
