`Heavy Equipment Driver Knocks Down 6 Year Old Boy

A six year old is in critical condition and a 37 year old heavy equipment driver is facing charges after he knocked down the child yesterday. Ministry of Works employee Roy Pasos was grading a road, driving a Caterpillar roller in the Baeza Layout in Corozal Town but didn’t see the child riding a bike behind him. He practically ran over him and the child is now in the Northern Regional Hospital in Orange Walk with serious head and body injuries. Police are waiting to see how he will fare before they bring charges.
