Heavy Gunfire on Caesar Ridge Road

And there was a shooting last night not far from where that grenade was detonated 13 days ago. It happened just before 8:00 on Caesar Ridge Road right in front of the Wilton Cummerbatch Park. Area residents reported hearing the sound of heavy sounding gunfire. And it was heavy indeed, 3 expended casings found on the ground resemble those fired from an assault rifle like an M-16.

But though it caused quite a serious scare, no one was hurt. Police noted that the shooting happened in front of a hang out spot for a well known area gang, the SSG or South-Side Gangsters. o arrests have been made and police say area residents were not able to provide any information.
