The 25 kilos Found in San Pedro

Nod date has been set for the destruction of a bale with 55 pounds of cocaine that was found yesterday on Northern San Pedro. San Pedro police will apply to the courts tomorrow for permission to destroy it. The discovery was made near Palapa Bar on the north end of the Caye. Police say that a citizen turned in the 25 kilos after finding it near the beach. Our information says that the citizen gave the information to police and accompanied them to the site. The 25 packs are believed to be part of a much larger wet drop that was lost near Northern Ambergris Caye about two weeks ago.
