21 year old Clifton Flores is in the news again tonight and this time it is because he was shot. He refused to talk to us but he told police that on Saturday afternoon around 2 he was riding his bicycle on West Canal in the direction of South Street when a young man he described as slim and brown skinned who was riding another bike opened fire. Several shots were fired and Flores was hit on his right shoulder, right elbow, leg, and his knee. He was admitted to the KHMH in stable condition and police are investigating.
Just over one month ago on December 18th of last year – Clifton Flores complained to us that police beat him with a bat and forced him to swallow his blood and vomit. And then in November of 2007, Flores was inside his car along with his wife and three children when they came under fire on Jane Usher Boulevard. No one was hurt.
His rap sheet is also long since in 2006 a then 19 year old Clifton Flores had separate arrests for attempted murder, robbery, and illegal firearm possession.
