Stepson Poisons Stepfather in Sittee River

Police in Sittee River Village are looking for Luis Assi. He is accused of giving his stepfather insecticide to drink. His stepfather 56 year old Herman Foster reported to police that on Tuesday Luis arrived home at mid-day with a bottle of what he thought was juice. Luis offered and foster says he drank down two servings and shortly after he began having abdominal pain, diarrhoea and then vomiting. The symptoms persisted unto Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. That’s when foster went to the hospital and took the bottle of juice with him. Tests revealed an insecticide known as “malathion.” Foster was admitted in a stable condition. The search for Luis Assi continues. Police expect to charge him for grievous harm.
