Two Accused Killers Nolle Pros

Meldrick Flowers was killed on Raccoon Street in May of 2006, and today the two men accused of his shooting death walked out of court free – the product of another nolle pros. But don’t blame the DPP’s office; it is the first nolle pros in this 2009 session of the Supreme Court – and the reason was the oldest one in the book: lack of witness cooperation.

So, 23 year old Troy Dawson and 21 year old Rushane Andrewin, were free to go after almost two years on remand. But while both men are free for now, he charges can be re-introduced.
