Missing Corozal Taxi Man Found Dead

Nearly a month after he disappeared without a trace – the badly decomposed body of Corozal businessman Ricardo Magana was found on Saturday morning.

Magana who is a taxi driver mysteriously disappeared last month - leaving his key on the seat of his abandoned mini-van on the Consejo Road. Police searched the immediate area for weeks but found nothing. That was until Saturday when private investigator Marlon Skeen and a team from his Security and Intelligence Solutions Limited searched the area and within 30 minutes found Magana’s remains beside an icebox. Due to the advanced state of decomposition, a post mortem was conducted onsite. The death appears to be from natural causes.
