The owner of New Fortune Restaurant did not wish to speak about the hold up and robbery that left the business woman over five hundred dollars short because she feared that the publicity would ruin her business. But police say forty seven year old Xin Ye Zuang was totally helpless when two armed gunmen pointed a silver handgun at her employees and customers.

The drama occurred around seven on Tuesday night at the restaurant which sits at the corner of East Canal and King Street. Initial investigations reveal that the assailants described as Creole descent persons stormed into the restaurant. As one gunman held everyone at bay with his weapon his accomplice jumped over the counter and stole five hundred and eighty dollars from the cash pan. The men escaped into the night, but the entire incident was captured on several security video cameras.

Police are hoping that the tape will lead them to the culprits. In the meantime they have been questioning a seventeen year old.
