In court today, twenty year old Jermaine Jerguson gave his occupation as a mechanic – but police say he was something more, they say he was using his skills to strip down a stolen car.

They found him scrapping a black Geo Prizm on a dirt road near CISCO construction yesterday. The Prizm which has taxi plates was presumable stolen form its owner’s address on Cemetery road. We say presumable because the owner Antonio Ayuso is reported to be is out of the country.

Today in court, Jerguson pleaded not guilty and Magistrate Albert Hoare granted him bail of four thousand dollars. Jerguson was unable to meet bail and was remanded.
