And in news just in – a taxi man was shot late this evening on Cairo Street. No name has been confirmed but he was shot with the engine on in his car and he was hit at least twice – once in the leg and in the chest. Still we are told he was taken to the KHMH alive. Details are scarce but our team is just back from the scene and spoke to a witness off camera who helped transport the injured cab driver to the hospital.

Voice of Witness,
“I just came off from duty and I went home and I was talking to my sister and thing. All of a sudden I just heard gunshots. I told her to stay inside the house and we just waited until everything done stop and then I peeped out to see what was going on. When I peeped out it was like I didn’t see nobody and bam when I came out back out again I saw a crowd out there so something was wrong. I saw the white car and I know the man lives right downstairs there so I went to go peep and I saw the man in the vehicle. I called the police and they came to assist and so we got the guy out of the vehicle and get him to the hospital quickly because he was still breathing and I talked to him and he said he is alright and thing but in his foot, you know….I don’t what to say mein.”

We’ll have more on the story tomorrow.
