At 3:00 am on Sunday morning, 48 year old Hector Figueroa was escorting home a 34 year old woman from a Garifuna dance that was being held at a club in the Seagull Street area. But the woman says that she never made it home safely; Figueroa dragged her into an open lot and raped her. The Honduran national appeared in court today where he was remanded to custody until November third. Figueroa told the court that he didn’t do it.
