There seem to be more answers than questions in a shooting incident that has left one man in the KHMH recovering from a gunshot injury to his upper right chest.
What is disturbing about the Police Press Release is while it states that the victim identified as one Justin Stuart knew his shooter and the name of the person was provided in the report and is now detained by police, 7News has been reliably informed that Justin Stuart has claimed that he does not even know who shot him and that while police did question one individual he has since been released.
The police report is that around eleven fifteen on Wednesday night Justin Stuart was at the E&1 Sport Bar in Belmopan City when he left to go and use the bathroom. While in the rest room he was approached by a gunman armed with what is believed to be a nine milimeter pistol who fired a single shot. Justin Stuart remains in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a stable condition.
