Stepfather Charged for Robbing Bel-Taco with Stepson

Police say a father and son duo robbed Bel-Taco on Hyde’s Lane on Thursday November 12th. On Monday a 16 year old minor was charged with robbery and today his 35 year old stepfather David White was charged for robbing the same place. He pleaded not guilty and was offered bail of $4,000. He was unable to meet it and was remanded to the Hattieville Prison.

Bel-Taco’s owner Melissa Espat reported to police that at 1:15 on the afternoon of the robbery – two persons entered the shop and covered their faces as they approached the counter. They held her up and stole $145 and an assortment of Smart phone cards.
