There was a fatal accident further north on the Chunox Road on Friday where a night out for a group of teenaged friends ended with a tragedy. Police report that at around 5 pm, 18 year old Wilder Lenares along with his 17 year old friends Edber Tun and Eric Wiltshire were driving on the Chunox Road when Lenares lost control of the vehicle and he ran off the road. The vehicle overturned on the right hand side of the road. Eric Wiltshire received serious injuries and died on the spot while Linares complained of pain on his left wrist and Edber Tun suffered minor injuries.
Police have since charged wilder Lenares with manslaughter by negligence, driving without due care and attention, and causing death by careless conduct. He was additionally charged for driving without a valid driver license, refusing to provide a urine specimen, driving without third party insurance, and taking a conveyance without permission. The last charge because police say wilder Lenarez took the vehicle without his father’s permission.
