Keith Sambula Chopped to Death in Roaring Creek

There was a murder in the village of Roaring Creek over the weekend. Belmopan Police say that 29 year old Keith Sambula was found dead on Friday night. Sambula is from Punta Gorda Town but he was socializing in Roaring Creek with friends between 9 and 10 on Friday night when he got into a misunderstanding with one of them.

Sambula was attacked with a machete and he received a large cut wound which stretched from the right side of his cheek to the lower back of his neck. Reports are the Sambula’s body was then thrown on the river bank in attempt to conceal the killing.

Four suspects were initially detained but Belmopan Police tell us that they are looking to charge two men for the murder. Those names however have not been released.
