Police Assign Inspectors to Jason Coombs Murder

And while the Galvez killing is the subject of a police investigation and an inquiry by the Ministry of National Security – the execution of Belizean American businessman Jason Coombs in November is also the subject of renewed attention from police. Owing perhaps to pressure coming from the Coombs family who has gone to the media in the United States, Commissioner of Police Crispin Jeffries today confirmed to 7News that two Inspectors of Police with considerable investigative experience have been assigned to review that case and deepen the investigation.

We know that police have a suspect in that murder – but the man who is well known to police and has been charged for murder before - has been at large for three months.
