Police today charged the man who they say shot 14 year old standard six student Alondra Trapp in her mother's Boots Crescent home on Wednesday morning.

23 year old Allison Williams - a labourer of Rivero street was charged with attempted murder, grievous harm, use of deadly means of harm, and two counts of aggravated assault.

No plea was taken because the offences are indictable. An bail was also refused because a firearm was involved. He was remanded until July 16th.

Trapp was sitting in her living room at a few minutes past 7 when she was shot in the leg by shots that came through the back of the house.

Two persons Anthony Dennison and Elrington Flowers who were outside the home at the time reported that they saw Williams with a firearm and he fired several shots at them but missed.
