One of the police officers implicated in landing the drug plane on the Southern Highway has received bail. He is Corporal Vidal Cajun - who was the only one of the six not charged for abetment to import controlled drugs. Cajun received bail of eight thousand dollars for the charge of keeping ammunition without a gun license from Justice Troadio Gonzalez. With that he was free on bail, the first freedom he's had since the 13th. when he was intercepted along with the others in a white van.
All the officers Sergeant Jacinto Roches, Sergeant Lawrence Humes, Customs boatman Harold Usher, who is a former policeman, corporal Nelson Middleton who is the governor general's driver, and Corporal Renell Grant were offered the same bail for the ammunition offence - but they are all currently under remand for the abetment to import drugs…
