On Wednesday night we told you about an armed robbery at a local casino where the patrons were robbed of their cell phones and cash.

WELL, police recovered one of those cell phones from Twenty four year old Germaine Cattouse, and he was charged with handling stolen goods today.

He was one of five persons arrested for possession of the 300 dollar phone and to get the others off, he took the plea in court yesterday.

He was sentenced to one year yesterday in the #4 Magistrate's Court after he pleaded guilty.

The charge against the others, thirty year old Geraldine Castillo, her boyfriend twenty six year old Michael 'Ham' Young, twenty two year old Dwayne Humes and twenty year old Kenroy Timmons was withdrawn.

The cell phone, the property of Carlos Rodriguez,, was stolen during the robbery at Central American Boulevard Game Shop, at the corner of Vernon Street and Central American Boulevard, which occurred around 10:00 p.m on Tuesday, December 7. Police reports are that four persons entered the game shop and one of them put a gun to Rodriguez's head and stole the Black Berry and four hundred dollars.

Another man, George Rocke, was also robbed of his cell phone during the robbery. It was Rocke, the police reported, who saw Cattouse at Queen Street Police Station while he was there giving a statement about the robbery. Rocke pointed out Cattouse as the person who robbed him and Rodriquez.

On Wednesday, December 8, police searched a residence at #53 Iguana Street Extension and found Rodriguez's phone inside a cement block.

At the time all five persons who were present were charged.
