Last night we told you about 56 year old American National, Miriam Simi, who was found dead at her residence in Sittee River sometime around nine yesterday morning. Police suspect foul play.
Simi was found nude lying face down on a bed in a pool of blood and her feet were dangling over the floor. The police also saw blood on the floor and discovered the place slightly ransacked. Interestingly, police have not found any signs of external injury on her body - so it is hoped that a post mortem will be able to determine the cause of death.
Investigators have been questioning several persons who were close to Simi but they've come up with nothing. They have also questioned Simi's husband, from whom she has been separated for a while but police said he also checks out. At this time police said there are no suspects and investigations continue.
