Armed And Dangerous In Duck Run

Armed masked men assaulted a businessman in a western village last night.

Armando Cortez of Duck Run Two Village in Cayo District was in his yard around 9 last night when he was approached by two Hispanic men, dressed in dark clothing with masks over their faces and armed with what appeared to be handguns.

One of the men pointed a gun at him and ordered him to go into the house with his wife and five children and demanded that he hand over the money. Cortez feared for his life and handed over five thousand dollars. The robbers then ran off into nearby bushes. No one was injured and no one has been arrested…
