And while one man has been charged for murder - another got off today. He is 21 year old Charles Castillo, charged with the May 2008 murder of 20 year old Tyrone Castellanos.
A nolle pros motion was entered in Justice Adolph Lucas's courtroom by Senior Crown Counsel Yohhanseh Cave. He indicated that the prosecution does not wish to proceed after one of the chief witnesses, failed to appear while another, Jermaine Matura took the witness stand and said that he does not want to testify.
But although Castillo was freed of the murder charge, he was not free to go because he is serving time for drug trafficking and possession of a firearm and ammunition. He will be released from prison in December 2013.
Castellanos was shot and killed on March of 2008 while he wa sin a yard on central American Boulevard….
