Dara Robinson held his annual Bob Marley Tribute to coincide with the reggae superstar's birthday on Saturday. And while there was live music, DJ's and a DVD concert, all that was secondary to the main event, which is Dara's Charity Food drive. The poor man's philanthropist has an ongoing feeding program - and told us he raised enough canned food to feed 25 families:..
Joel "Dara" Robinson, Philanthropist
"What happen is that it wasn't coming the way I wanted from the Monday going on up to Wednesday but when I got a little break to explain it on the air and the media and then the people got more inform and then I start to see progress. But the best turn out come at the show where people come out and full the barrel so the turn out at the show was good. It's the 7th Annual Bob Marley show and like I always say doing Bob Marley and Lucky Dube show every year; I don't just want to do it, I do it and beside that I try to get help in so much other ways. These same can foods here will reach out to some needy

family. I already have people on my list. Some that get last year will get and I will give a few different people and some of these same kids that come here to eat at the program; some of their families will get. I have at least like 20 - 25 families that will get a nice amount out of this."
Dara will be distributing food items tomorrow to a number of families…
