Four adults and a 17 year old pregnant teenager is on remand tonight after a gun was found in their home yesterday morning. Between 5:00 and 8:30 am, the Gang suppression Unit searched a home at #129 Albert Street and they found a 9 millimeter pistol with 16 live rounds wrapped up in two masks under the house.

Five people were inside the house and they were all charged with keeping firearm and ammunition without a license. The adults are 24 year old Orin Michael, 18 year old Erwin Ellis, 25 year old Nasceria Mejia and 37 year old Margaret Harris.

In court today, Michael wanted to plead guilty but Magistrate Albert Hoare entered an equivocal plea of not guilty because Michael did not agree with the facts of the case. As a result all five accused persons were remanded into custody until April fifth.
