Landing Man Shot In City

We've already told you about three murders this weekend - but a man had to run for his life when he was shot on Rivero Street early on Sunday morning. At about 7:00 Eldon Williams - who is from Bermudian Landing - was driving a Ford Explorer when he crashed into a drain at the corner of Waight and Barnett Streets.

He went to use a pay phone and when he was walking back to his vehicle, he heard a loud bang like a shotgun blast. He was shot to the right leg and ran back through old Faber's road right to the Yabra community center - which is across form a police substation - where he collapsed on the stairs. He was taken to the hospital where he is admitted in a stable condition….
