A high crime area in Belize City witnessed another murder this evening. At about 4:45 pm, 27 year old Andrew Moses was shot multiple times as he was walking on Kraal Road, near Wilt Cummerbatch field.
The resident of Central American Boulevard was an employee of one of Boots Martinez's social programs and was walking in the area when hat is reported to be a masked gunman approached and shot him multiple times - the fatal bullet going through his heart.
Just a few minutes ago, Monica Bodden spoke to Police Press Officer, Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood.

"Investigations reveal that sometime before 5 o' clock Andrew Moses was walking on Kraal Road from its junction with Caesar Ridge Road and upon reaching somewhere in the vicinity of Ross Pen Road a gun man approach him, Moses tried to run away from his assailant. The assailant opens fire hitting him several times. Moses was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounce dead on arrival."

"That I cannot confirm, we would have to wait for the post mortem."

"Rowland, I am not here to judge anyone's character. I am just here to give the facts, but what I can say that this is a densely populated area, someone may have seen something that they believe - maybe they think it's irrelevant but it could be of importance to us."

"Like I said this is an early investigation, it's a murder investigation, so less said is better."
