For the past 15 year or more, the musical family of Naphty, Fahima and their children have made a living at a stall at the City's bridge-foot selling trinkets to tourists and playing music for passers-by.

Indeed they have a collective, called the Family Fusion Band - but right now it's all on hold. Naphty and Fahima have not been at their stall, because of a dispute with a neighboring business at the bridge foot.

The dispute they say dates back to 2008 - - but it escalated three weeks ago when Naphty says he got a death threat - not from the neighboring business, but from a female who hangs out at the store.

It's all a bit involved - but this peaceful family is taking it deadly serious and say they have not gone back to the stall because they don't want an unwarranted escalation of hostilities:…

Naphty

"Well Jules from like last week I had stop going out there because the truth is that my life was threatened. Now I don't know the woman's name and I know notice that she has been on the low since this."

Jules Vasquez
"So what is your concern right now?"

Naphty
"My concern is that like I seem to just be like out of place because with the business I have been out there for more than 20 years. Now this threat is a serious thing. I have to say that I feel like a sitting duck because I am out there playing my saxophone, I have been out there from Wednesday of last week."

Fahima

"A lot of time they say 'oh ignore them because people will do anything to be on TV'. Well you know that is not my case."

Naphty
"It seems like that a lot of times things have to come out overall so that people could get the sense. There are people that are neglected and overlook for some reason or the other."

The family went to the City Council to confirm that their stall lease is secured….
