A teenager who had just been released form Prison on bail went back to prison yesterday after being accused of a firearm offence.
19 year old Glensmore Burgess pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault with a firearm. Magistrate Aretha Ford denied him bail and he was remanded until April 26th.
At 7:30 on March ninth Calvin Palma reported that he was walking at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Faber's Road when he was approached by Burgess who was riding a bicycle.
Palma says Burgess pulled a firearm and he ran and escaped unhurt. According to our records, in 2009 Palma was shot in his palm in a drive by shooting - but later in court said he forgave the shooters.
