In February, we told you about thirty nine year old Indian businessman Makesh Makhwani, the owner of God's Store located on Kut Avenue, accused of employing a person not in possession of an employment permit.

Well, God is good, because the charge was dismissed today by Magistrate Kayla Teck, due to lack of evidence. Magistrate Teck also dismissed a charge of working without an employment permit against Makhwani's nephew, Indra Kumar Vaswani, for lack of evidence.

It was alleged that on February 7, 2011, Makhwani hired his nephew, Vaswani to work at his warehouse and Vaswani did not have a work permit. Makhwani explained that he did not hire Vaswani to work and had only given him a place to stay because Vaswani had lost his job at Extra House.
