For the past two nights we've been telling you about the auditor general's report on Moses Sulph's former desk at the General Registry.
A report was requested after reports of irregularities' came up. And indeed, loopholes in the system allowed for 1,600 dollars in receipts for marriage certificates to go missing.
The cashier said she saw Sulph accepting money - which is her job - but apart from that allegation the report offers nothing much in terms of proof of who pinched the money.
Today Sulph said he is confident he will be exonerated and vindicated:…
Jules Vasquez

"You have heard about the auditor's general report. I know that you have not read it so you cannot comment in detail but are you surprise that there is a report that says at the top "Embezzlement' Moses Sulph - Data Entry Clerk - $1,0602.00."
Moses Sulph
"No, I am not surprise at all, I would have more expected thought that probably it would be in the millions if you want to blame Moses Sulph for such a thing, however that is not so but I can safely say that there is a good thing about this report and it is showing that there is indeed loop hole at the registry in the system that can create some irregularities, but I am saying and I am 100% saying that Moses Sulph is not involve in any irregularities at the Registry."
Jules Vasquez
"But my question is that the allegation against you is that you collected money for the marriage certificates and apostils. Did you so do?"
Moses Sulph
"I am not a collector of money at the registry."
Jules Vasquez
"I know that you your job was data entry, but did you go outside the scope of your duties and make collection of monies for marriage certificates and apostils?"
Moses Sulph
"No sir and I did not as I said before Moses Sulph is not involve in any illegal activities. That's not my role, that's not my life, that's is nt what I am about."
