Man Accused Of Fondling Child

Salvadorean National Jose Cortez who turned 38 today will spend his birthday in jail.

Cortez was charged with Aggravated Assault of an Indecent Nature upon a 10 year old girl when he appeared today in the #1 Magistrate's Court.

He pleaded not guilty but was denied bail and was remanded into custody until September 15th.

The incident allegedly occurred yesterday August 8th. The girl reported to the police that Cortez touched her private parts.
