This morning at 4:00, a home on Antelope Street was almost burnt down when someone set fire to a Toyota Camry that was parked in the driveway.

The 1995 Toyota Camry was parked in the yard at 3808 Antelope Street when someone threw a bottle with kerosene and a wick through the glass.

Now the wrinkle in the case is that one of the drivers of the car was recently at the Edward P Yorke basketball court when Justin Roaches was killed. He didn't play any role in that shooting or the events that led to it - but that didn't seem to matter to whomever threw the Molotov cocktail inside the car last night.

Police today said it is a case they are looking at - we found the car being stripped by mechanics further west in Antelope street:

Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood - Police Press Officer

"We are investigating who would want to set a vehicle on fire owned by a female. But you know, and investigators know that this vehicle is solely used by the owner. So it gives us another spin that we have to investigate and check all different angles also."
